How to use it

  1. Set the start time

Name the service, add the date if you like, and pick when it begins.

  2. List the service

Edit the example or start blank. Give each item a length, a song key if it has one, and who leads it.

  3. Put it in order

Use the arrows to move items. Every start time and the end time update as you go.

  4. Print it

Print for the band, the booth and the platform, or choose Save as PDF in the print window to send it.

What goes in an order of service

Everything that happens from the welcome to the benediction, in order: songs, prayers, readings, the sermon, communion or the offering, announcements, and anything special that week, such as a baptism or a dedication.

Giving each item a length is what makes it useful. Add them up and you know whether the service fits its hour before Sunday, not during it.

Who it’s for

The worship leader needs the keys and the order of the set. The person on slides and sound needs to know what’s next. Whoever is preaching wants to know how long they really have. One printed sheet answers all three.
