Free church QR code generator

Make a QR code for your website, give page, visit form or Wi-Fi. Add your logo in the middle, pick a color, and download a PNG or SVG, or print a poster or four bulletin cards to a page. It all happens in your browser, and there's nothing to sign up for.

Print it so it scans

Most QR codes that fail were printed too small, too light or too close to something else. A few habits avoid all three.

  • Make it at least an inch (2.5 cm) across on a card, and much bigger for anything read from across a room
  • Use a dark color on white. Light colors and photocopies are the usual reasons a code stops scanning
  • Leave the white border around the code. Scanners need it to find the edges
  • Test it with two phones before you print a hundred
  • Print the address under the code too. Not every phone scans, so this tool always prints it

Questions about the church QR code generator

Is it really free? Do the codes expire?

Yes, and no. There's no account and no limit, and the codes never expire. The web address is built into the pattern itself, so the code keeps working for as long as that address does.

Can I change where a printed code points?

No. These are static codes: the address is in the pattern, not on a server we run. If you might move a page later, point the code at an address you control, like your own website, and change what that page says instead.

Do you track scans?

No. Nothing is stored and nothing passes through us when someone scans. The code opens your address directly.

PNG or SVG?

PNG for slides, social posts and documents. SVG for a printer, a sign shop or a designer, because it stays sharp at any size.

How does the Wi-Fi code work?

It holds your network name and password in the standard Wi-Fi format that iPhone and Android cameras read. Scanning it offers to join the network. Anyone who sees the code can join, so use it for your guest network.

Does Ministry Planner make QR codes for me?

Yes, for its own pages. Online giving comes with a printable poster and bulletin inserts that carry the QR code and the written address. There is no platform fee on gifts, but Stripe's processing fee applies and your church is confirmed as a registered charity first.
